Allium schoenoprasum 'Cha Cha Chive' is an ornamental and edible garden chive with cylindrical green leaves that grow out of the flower head.

Allium schoenoprasum ‘Cha Cha Chive’ is not only edible but weird too. Typical of garden chives it has the usual long cylindrical foliage but instead of the usual pink flowers, the heads are filled with mini cylindrical green leaves which are also edible. Clumps reach 16 inches high and 12 inches wide. Pair with late season bulbs and other early blooming perennials.
