Allium ‘Peek-a-Boo’

Allium 'Peek-a-Boo' provides summer interest with lavender-purple flowers and green strap-like foliage.

Alliums ‘Peek-a-Boo’ is compact in height and spread with a growth habit of 12 inches high by 15 inches wide with lavender-purple spheres on short stalks rising to even with the tips of the foliage. Foliage is narrow, upright, strappy, and grass-like in lovely green shades. Flowers are mildly fragrant. Ornamental onions provide a flower display unlike most other perennials with numerous small florets held in delightful spheres that are useful for contrasting with other flower shapes in the garden. Awesome in the rock or herb garden, in mass plantings, at the front of the border, in containers, and in the vase. This is a non-bulbous cultivar that blooms in summer. Attracts bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbit resistant.
