Allium ‘Ostara’ is a new hybrid between A. karataviense and A. atropurpureum with dramatic, broad, mid-green leaves that remain green through flowering giving rise to large, deep reddish purple spheres on 16 inch stems. Few plants can offer the unique flower forms of ornamental onions. Every garden should have Alliums. Plant in multiples of 3, 5, 7 or more. Foliage remains green and beautiful during flowering.
