Allium ‘Metallic Shine’ makes spectacular, metallic purple blooms 10-12 inches wide composed of hundreds of loose, star shaped flowers. It makes a stunning architectural focal point in the early summer garden. ‘Metallic Shine’ is a Dutch hybrid of garden favourite Allium cristophii, an ornamental onion from Turkey and Afghanistan, performing exceptionally as a cut or dried flower.
