Allium ‘Medusa’

Allium 'Medusa forms rounded clusters of light amethyst purple flowers that rise above low mounds of grey-green, twisty foliage.

Ornamental onions offer intriguing spherical or egg-shaped inflorescences comprised of hundreds of tiny flowers. Allium ‘Medusa’ has snaky, twisty leaves that are evocative of its namesake. ‘Medusa’ forms a low mound of grey-green, narrow foliage with leaves that twist slightly at the end. Light amethyst purple flowers form 1.75 – 2″ rounded clusters. Pollinator friendly. Resistant to deer and rabbit.
