Allium convallarioides

Allium convallarioides is a rare species with delicate, bell-shaped, white flowers held in a loose sphere.

Allium convallarioides is rarely found in cultivation and hails from the Ukraine, Turkey, and Crimea. It has delicate, bell-shaped, white flowers held in a loose sphere offering a different look from the more starry floreted species. The flowers are held atop somewhat inflated, blue-green leaves and stems. Hardiness of zone 5 is a safe guess. It is possibly hardier. Available in fall as dry bulbs and sometimes in spring as potted plants.
