Alcea rosea Spotlight ‘Mars Magic’
Alcea rosea Spotlight 'Mars Magic' is a hollyhock with large, old-fashioned, single, red flowers with bright yellow eyes.
Alcea rosea ‘Mars Magic’ is a new take on a old garden classic. From the Spotlight series, this hollyhock will shine with large, old-fashioned, single, brilliant red flowers with bright contrasting yellow eyes on tall spikes over a low mound of foliage. A true perennial and superior cultivar all around. Easy to grow in a variety of soils including seasonally dry sites but hollyhocks really perform best in rich, loamy soil with good moisture. Use in the border and in large containers. Pollinator attractor. Rabbit resistant.
