Albuca bracteata

Albuca bracteata (syn. Ornithogalum caudatum), pregnant or sea onion, looks like an onion with thick, bright green leaves.

Albuca bracteata (syn. Ornithogalum caudatum) is known as pregnant or sea onion. It is a long-lived, bulbous plant with a large, rounded bulb that sits atop the ground and long, broad, bright green semi-succulent leaves, all of which resemble onions. The snake-like flowering stem can be three feet long covered in white and green star-like flowers. It makes baby bulbs at its base forming attractive colonies over time. Photo: Wikipedia.
