It is a dramatic, super hardy, small Agave from the Nopah Mountains near Las Vegas growing to about one foot tall and wide in a rosette of thick, blue-green, heavily-toothed leaves tipped with the longest terminal spines of the subspecies that can reach four or more inches in length and which can gradually curving or rippled and contorted as if they were electrocuted!
