The thick, short and wide gray-bluish leaves host prominent and very dark-black teeth along the margins. It’s a slow grower. Water moderately when growing and sparingly when dormant through the winter months. Growth habit is of a tight rosette form up to 4.5 inches tall and wide. Common name is century plant because it takes that long to bloom.
