Agave ovatifolia 'Frosty Blue' is a cold hardy century plant with blue-green foliage also known as whale's tongue agave.

Spectacular! Agave ovatifolia ‘Frosty Blue’, commonly known as whale’s tongue century plant, brings architectural drama and a tropical or desert feel to the garden. It is a relatively fast grower with short, broad, cupped leaves that are tooth-edged and topped off with a prominent terminal spine. The foliage looks like its been lightly dusted with flour or frosted giving it a turquoise blue sheen. The rosette can reach 2-3 feet tall and 3-6 feet wide in perfect conditions though it will be smaller grown in a container or outdoors in coastal BC where it is hardy to zone 7b if protected from winter rain. Deer and rabbit resistant.
