Agapanthus ‘Summer Skies’

Agapanthus 'Summer Skies' has light blue flowers with dark blue streaks on tall sturdy stems rising above green strap-like foliage.

‘Summer Skies’ is a hardy Agapanthus for zone 6 (possibly zone 5 with protection) with broad, strap-like evergreen to semi-evergreen leaves. It produces erect stems bearing rounded umbels of pale blue, trumpet-shaped flowers with dark blue streaks down the centre of the petals. Lily-of-the-Nile are gorgeous, subtropical-looking, long-blooming plants for gardens or pots. In cold winter regions, grow in a pot and keep at or above freezing in winter.
