Agapanthus ‘Galaxy White’

Agapanthus 'Galaxy White' has five inch wide umbels of white, trumpet-shaped blossoms on tall stems. Hardy to zone 6!

The Galaxy Series are large, vigorous lily-of-the-Nile that have proven hardy in zone 6 Michigan with good snow cover for many years. Agapanthus ‘Galaxy White’ has large, rounded umbels to five inches across of white, trumpet-shaped blossoms on strong, tall stems to 3-4 feet high. Flowering will last all summer long into fall. Thrives in full sun and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Awesome in the perennial border, grown in swaths, and in containers (where many gardeners find Agapanthus easier to bloom). A great cut flower. Mulch each winter with fallen leaves or protect above freezing in its pot. Hummingbird and bee attractor. Deer resistant.
