‘Blue Yonder’ is an extra hardy Agapanthus that can apparently survive winters in zone 5! There go the West Coast’s bragging rights on lily-of-the-nile when colder zone Canadians find out! Should we tell them? We should. ‘Blue Yonder’ has big, luscious heads of rich, royal blue flowers over lush green strap-like leaves. Lily-of-the-Nile are gorgeous, subtropical-looking, long-blooming plants for gardens or pots. In cold winter regions grow in a pot and keep at around freezing in winter.
