Adiantum venustum
The evergreen Himalayan maidenhair fern, Adiantum venustum, forms delicate and elegant, slowly expanding mats.

The Himalayan maidenhair fern, Adiantum venustum, is evergreen in mild areas with a thin, creeping rhizome that produces gorgeous mats with ovate fronds composed of many small fan-shaped segments, often turning an attractive orange or rusty-brown in autumn and winter. One of the best ground covers for smaller applications in shade. The new growth is also beautiful in shades of coral pink. Combine with spring ephemerals like Cardamine and Anemone nemorosa.
