Aconitum napellus ‘Rubellum’

Aconitum 'Rubellum' is a distinctly different monkshood with pretty pink flower spikes.

‘Rubellum’ is a delicate pink version of Aconitum napellus would make a little girl in her “pink phase” giggle in delight. Rigidly upright stems hold attractive deeply cut ferny leaves remain dark green in colour throughout the season contrasting with the bold spikes of pink hooded flowers rising above the foliage. Monkshoods are great from sun to part shade and offer a great way to get vertical spikes into shadier positions.
