Aconitum napellus ‘Rubellum’

Aconitum 'Rubellum' is a distinctly different monkshood with pretty pink flower spikes.

‘Rubellum’ is a delicate pink version of Aconitum napellus that would make any little girl in her “pink phase” giggle in delight. Rigidly upright stems to 4-5 feet tall in summer hold attractive deeply cut ferny leaves that remain dark green in colour throughout the season contrasting with the spikes of pink, hooded flowers. Monkshoods are great from sun to part shade and offer vertical spikes that for shadier positions. Pollinator attractor, especially bees. Deer resistant.
