Aconitum ‘Blue Lagoon’

Aconitum 'Blue Lagoon' is a dwarf monkshood with bright blue flowers.

Aconitum ‘Blue Lagoon’ is the shortest and most compact cultivar yet available. Growing to only 10-12 inches, it’s perfect for containers or the front of the border. It has handsome dark green foliage and showy bright blue flowers that start blooming lower on the stalks for a showier display from top to bottom. Blooms from mid to late summer when few other blue flowers are present in the garden. All parts of the plant are poisonous so don’t use it in salads. Photo courtesy of Walters Gardens.
