Achimenes 'Blue Sparks' is an orchid pansy related to the African violet with delicate white to lavender/blue tubular blooms.

Achimenes ‘Blue Sparks’ is a tender rhizomatous perennial related to the African violet with delicate tubular blooms of white to pale lavender-blue with dark veining emerging outward from yellow throats. Orchid pansies begin to bloom in June continuing through summer and are compact and floriferous. Best grown in pots in part sun to part shade or as a houseplant. For winter, treat like tuberous begonias – allow to dry out and go dormant. Place pots in a cool frost-free location. Begin watering again in spring when growth starts.
