Acacia baileyana

This stunning, choice acacia has evergreen, fern-like, silver blue leaves. In early spring it is covered with small spheres of yellow puffy flowers that are sweetly scented. It grows quickly to 10 to 20 feet. Plant in a protected location in full sun with well-drained soil. If I haven’t yet convinced you, isn’t it worth it just for the common name?
