The last decade has seen an incredible number of distinctive and unusual Hydrangea introductions with innovations like the ability to bloom on new wood, dwarf habits, and new flower forms & colours. In this pre-order we assemble for you a specially curated selection of the best that the Hydrangea world has to offer including many hot new introductions as well as some tried and true classic performers.

These are the only sizes available.

Try not to go too crazy with all of the beauty! Then again, why not?

Pick-Up: These cultivars will be coming from many different sources including our own production. We estimate pick-up will begin in early to Mid May. We will email you when your order is ready for pick-up.

Courier and Canadian Mail Order Customers: If you live in BC, we can courier or freight these Hydrangea to anywhere in Greater Vancouver and to most larger cities and towns across the province. To get an idea of costs, please visit our Plants to the People page. Exact costs will depend on the number of plants in your order and your location. If you would like courier shipping, please select the shipping deposit when you place your order. Beyond BC, we cannot ship these plants. They are too big to ship via Canada Post since they are in 2-5 gallon pots. But, fear not. We will have an interesting selection of shippable sizes launching on our mail order site in February.

Hydrangea arborescens ‘Annabelle’
Hydrangea arborescens ‘Annabelle’ is the classic white mophead. It has large white heads of pure white florets that age to green with time. The foliage is thick and blue-green and the plants bushy and upright. The arborescens group is native to North America. It is exceptionally hardy and easy going but like other hydrangeas requires good moisture to thrive in full sun.

Hydrangea Incrediball is an update on the classic ‘Annabelle’ with extra huge flower heads said to have strong enough stems to hold the flowers up even in a rain storm. We’ll see about that but they sure are magnificent even if they droop a little. Smooth hydrangea is native to eastern North America and is among the hardiest in the genus.

Hydrangea Invincibelle Garnetta is a dwarf cultivar to just three feet tall and wide with rich lavender-pink flowers held in mopheads on strong, upright stems. Garnetta is a rebloomer meaning that unpruned plants will produce a long succession of blooms from early summer until frost while plants that are pruned or that die back to the ground will still bloom from mid summer until frost – great for cold climate gardeners or those who are overzealous with pruning shears!
