Cute name. Cute plant. This extremely floriferous dwarf cultivar has watermelon pink flowers around red cones. The petals are outward facing giving a cheerful flat rather than cone shape to the flower. The petals sport a jaunty upward curl at the petal margins. Good for small spaces and pots. Plant in full sun in average (not overly rich), well-drained soils. Avoid soils that are overly moist in winter.
Geogrpahical Origin: North America Native Habitat: Dry open woods, prairies and barrens.
